Red Velvet Cake

 

 

 

 

A few years ago I got a Hummingbird Bakery book as a present, I have had so much fun making a number of the recipes but the red velvet cake has to be my favourite. After having had the book for a while, I went to London and visited the Hummingbird bakery, where inevitably I got a red velvet cupcake!

I made this for my friend over Christmas. It started as a plain white book and I created dividers which can be moved through the book as she adds her photos and memories. I made the dividers based on things that were related to her, however you could make them for anything, I think a birthday one would be good especially if it was a big birthday.

Sparkly Nails

 

 

I'm a massive fan of glittery nails! I had a gold glitter varnish that I loved but recently ran out of it, so for my birthday I got this No 7 nail varnish which is great. I put a gold colour on underneath, then the glitter varnish followed by a top coat to prevent them from chipping. I hope you like them :)

I love this outfit - the jumper is so cute, and looks great combined with the glamour (and warmth) of the faux fur coat. The red gloves add a bit of fun colour, finished off with a super splash of red on the lips.

I love the colour of this figure flattering dress! It looks so good teamed with the luxury of the cream coat and the stunning necklace. The black sandals will lengthen the legs and the cute bag finishes it off perfectly.
